MeasureMax + Measurement Software Support Services

Sheffield MeasureMax+ inspection software is the foundation of a complete measurement system. Capabilities include easy inspection and programming, real-time statistical analysis, a simple shop-floor interface, FlexScan™ scanning, 2-D and 3-D analysis, and even reverse engineering. It seamlessly and automatically integrates all probes, peripheral devices, input sources and output formats without long job changeovers or costly downtime. And MeasureMax+ runs on any Sheffield or Cordax® CMM.

With CAD-based capability, operators can use detailed, shaded renderings to easily program on-line or off-line in minutes. CAD models can be in IGES or optionally native CATIA, Pro/E and Unigraphics formats. Programs are automatically optimised with built-in collision avoidance. Programmers can also work in Visual Basic® to build their own development tools, and customise data collection and test results. MeasureMax+ runs nearly all Sheffield and Cordax legacy inspection programs, including those written in MaxLite or older versions of MeasureMax, as well as DMIS programs.

MaxLite Measurement Software Support Services

Maxlite is a stand-alone, easy to use basic programming and inspection environment for the beginning user.

Maxlite uses a sequential text programming language to construct programs to be run later, or can be use for quick inspections without any part program at all. The program features large, colorful buttons and graphics for easy identification of functions. It can even be used with a touchscreen for shop floor applications.

PC-DMIS Pro, CAD and CAD++ Support Services

PC-DMIS CMM comes in three basic configurations. Our customers have varying requirements and should not have to pay for features they don’t need. PC-DMIS CMM comes in various standard configurations. Each is carefully tailored to meet the needs of a specific group of customers. Also, PC-DMIS offers a wide range of optional modules for doing specific tasks. This means that users can fine-tune the software to meet specific needs.

• PC-DMIS Pro – The baseline PC-DMIS CMM package offers customers who don’t need to integrate CAD into their inspection process a powerful, easy to use metrology software package. PC-DMIS Pro, with its built-in Quick Start routines, lets users get up and running on their CMMs with a minimum of fuss.
• PC-DMIS CAD – Brings CAD to the inspection process. PC-DMIS CAD lets customers create inspection programs and evaluate measurement results taking full advantage of their CAD models. The software provides the tools need to work with CAD files ranging from simple 2D drawings through complex 3D solid models.
• PC-DMIS CAD++ - Enhances the capabilities of PC-DMIS CAD with sophisticated tools for high speed scanning, sheet metal measurement, part alignment and the like. PC-DMIS CAD++ makes measuring complex shapes easy.

PC-DMIS is also available in an off-line version. In high volume shops where CMM time is a precious commodity, customers want to maximize the time their machines spend measuring parts. To meet this need we offer Off-Line versions of PC-DMIS for virtual programming. Now, CMM programmers do most of their part programming off-line and CMMs spend most of their time measuring parts.
